Tomorrow was forecast to be the heaviest precipitation period, with persistent thunderstorm potential expected across different parts of both regions.

Public health experts cautioned that there was an greater possibility of weather-related respiratory issues across the countryside regions, particularly given the existing atmospheric conditions.
